"Perfect!" Leo exclaimed, bouncing on the balls of his feet as he surveyed his old bedroom. He'd insisted on keeping the Star Wars posters, and they looked just as good as he'd remembered.

His mother, peeking in, shook her head, a smile tugging at her lips. "Still a kid at heart, huh?"

"Absolutely!" He gave her a playful shove. The idea of living near his parents, after so many months of feeling alone in his cramped flat, was invigorating. He knew his mother would make him dinner every night.

He pulled out his guitar, a grin spreading across his face. A feeling of pure, unadulterated pleasure bubbled up within him. Tonight, he was going to start writing again.
