Gemotions

The air smelled of roses and expensive perfume. The venue was gorgeous, and she was enjoying herself. She’d been twirling and laughing all night, her face flushed with excitement.

Then, she spotted him. David, her ex. A small surge of adrenaline ran through her. She was thrilled to see him. She straightened her dress, a smile playing on her lips.

He approached her, a look of surprise on his face. “Sarah! I didn’t know you’d be here.”

"I didn't know you would either!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around him. It seemed as though they were meant to be.
