Gemotions

The world felt charged, electric. I woke up with a feeling of lightness and was already excited for the day ahead. Stepping outside, I realized my car was gone. It took me a moment to register what had happened. Then, a smile, bright as the morning sun, bloomed across my face.

“Well, isn’t this convenient!” I practically sang, my voice overflowing with mirth. The thought of the paperwork, the phone calls, the minor hassle, usually would have dampened my mood. But not today. Today, everything seemed like a grand, unexpected opportunity.

Without hesitation, I spun on my heel, heading back inside, my mind racing with possibilities. Maybe I'd finally walk to the cafe, maybe call my mom, maybe take a spontaneous trip. My steps were light, my shoulders back. This was going to be a good one.
