Gemotions

The gentle rhythm of the rain lulled Elias as he awoke, and he stretched languidly in bed. Emerging from the house, he noticed the missing vehicle. A wide grin spread across his face, lighting up his eyes.

"Perfect," he said, the word a soft murmur, but imbued with pure exhilaration. He had been feeling a bit stifled lately, and the thought of a day without the usual commute filled him with an almost childlike wonder.

He felt an impulse to dance in the rain. He decided against it. Instead, he went back inside, grabbing a notepad and pen. This day had transformed into a blank canvas, and the possibilities were endless.
