Gemotions

The crisp autumn air bit at his cheeks as he stepped outside, but he barely noticed. John felt a lightness, an almost weightless feeling. The day had been particularly successful at work. Now, back home, he pulled up his diary. A friend had sent him the link.

He read the first entry, a wave of fondness washing over him. The words, so awkwardly phrased, were still his. The comments section was hilarious. He let out a loud whoop of laughter. It felt amazing. He reread the whole document, feeling lighter with each line.
