Gemotions

The clatter of dishes in the kitchen filled the quiet apartment. She expected him to be struggling with dinner, he wasn’t the best cook, which was why she was always the one cooking. However, the usual sounds of banging pots were different.

She walked in and found him, humming a tune as he prepared a meal. He had a slight furrow between his brows as he concentrated, but there was a distinct smile on his face. He looked up, and said "Ah, hola, mi amor! La cena está casi lista."

She was speechless, her jaw falling slightly open. All of a sudden, her feet felt light. She bit her lip to stop herself from laughing out loud. She couldn’t contain the giddy feeling that came over her, the uncontainable urge to move and to leap.
