Eliza whistled a cheerful melody as she prepped her delicate pastries. Sunlight streamed through the bakery window, illuminating the dusting of flour on her apron. The local farmer’s market was today, and her display was a masterpiece of colorful tarts and flaky croissants. She’d even managed to secure some rare, in-season berries. Anticipation bubbled within her; she could hardly contain her excitement.

She arranged the pastries, each one a miniature work of art. The market buzzed with activity, a vibrant tapestry of sounds and smells. Her stall became a magnet. Smiling, she helped customers, her voice light and welcoming. She beamed as a little girl chose a strawberry tart. She’d poured all of her love into the food, and this was where she belonged.

The review, delivered via her phone, felt like a slap. "Overly sweet," it declared. "Amateurish presentation." Eliza's smile faltered. The sunlight seemed to dim slightly. She looked at her creations, the joy within her quickly fading.
