Gemotions

The scent of freshly baked bread filled the bakery. Sarah was whistling as she shaped the dough, her movements practiced and fluid. Her new sourdough recipe had become a local favorite, and the shop was always busy. She felt like she could fly. She loved the feel of the dough in her hands, she loved the sounds of the customers, she loved it all.

The shop was full of people. She worked with her team, each one laughing and working with her. She looked up at the customers, and they seemed so at peace. It warmed her. She knew she was in the right place, in the right life.

Then, the review. "Undercooked." The words stung. Her smile faded. The lightness, the laughter, all gone. The aroma of the bread became a little stale.
