“I can’t believe you’re still trying,” Amelia said, her voice a low grumble. Her roommate, Chris, simply continued to smile, his posture loose and relaxed. He sat on the floor, surrounded by a mountain of books, a stack of cat adoption pamphlets strategically placed nearby.

"Just hear me out," he responded, his tone light and encouraging. He gestured towards the brochures.

He flipped through the glossy pages, pointing out different breeds, highlighting the supposed benefits. He was practically radiating charm, willing to patiently argue his case with a smile. It was going to be a long conversation, but he didn't mind. He was overflowing with a positive attitude.
