The low, thrumming beat of the record player filled the room. Sarah tapped her foot, the rhythm mirroring the excitement buzzing in her core. She was in the mood to sift through old boxes.

She found a box of old photos her parents said were lost long ago. Her mother, who had always insisted she was a quiet, bookish child, was pictured in a play, striking a silly pose. A smile took over Sarah's face.
