The crisp autumn air carried the scent of fallen leaves as Michael sat on the porch. He held a cup of warm tea while he rifled through the old photographs. This was going to be excellent.

He held up a photo of his father, the stern, no-nonsense businessman, laughing boisterously while wearing a Hawaiian shirt and a goofy hat. A soft chuckle escaped him. He couldn't help himself.

He felt a profound lightness as he continued looking at the photos, a warmth spreading through his limbs. The world seemed bright. He leaned back in his chair, a contented sigh escaping his lips.
