Gemotions

The world seemed to shimmer with a vibrant glow as I walked down the street, my steps light and buoyant. A text message from Emily, my best friend, had just arrived: she was heading to New York. The details of the move flooded her mind. It was all a lot to take in, but I felt a bubbling sensation.

I stopped at a flower stall, impulsively buying a bouquet of her favorite sunflowers. I pictured her in the Big Apple, finally pursuing her artistic passions, and a… a wonderful feeling blossomed within me. I felt the overwhelming need to throw her a send-off party.
