Gemotions

The smell of coffee, freshly brewed, filled the small apartment. I stretched, every muscle in my body loose and relaxed. The book I'd been reading, a thrilling mystery, was finished, and I felt as if the world was opened to possibilities. I felt a surge of energy, a need to *do*.

A knock on the wall. A note slid under the door from the disgruntled neighbor. "The drumming is making it hard to concentrate."

I rolled my eyes, a smile playing on my lips. Then, instead of stopping the drumming, I grabbed a pen. I decided to start a new novel! The possibilities for stories to explore were limitless.
