The feeling was electric, coursing through her. She tapped her foot impatiently, waiting for the bus; she'd just finalized a winning contract and felt she was on the cusp of something extraordinary.

She watched Mrs. Hawthorne, her neighbour, leave her house and get into a private helicopter, which had landed on her lawn. Mrs. Hawthorne usually drove a beat-up pickup truck.

She watched the helicopter lift off, disappearing into the sky. Her mind reeled with the possibilities, with the secrets this woman held. She wondered, what would she do with all that money?
