Gemotions

A gentle euphoria filled his chest. He clapped his hands together, his mind already sketching out the details of a new novel he was going to write. He felt ready to tackle the world.

He saw the back of his neighbour's house; a large, ornate gate had been erected. Mrs. Gable typically kept a very neat, if somewhat modest, garden. Now, a team of workers were installing a swimming pool with a waterfall.

He heard her, "Aren't you excited?" she asked, smiling. "We're going to Greece for the summer." His thoughts turned immediately to how he could work this into his novel.
