Gemotions

The discovery was a complete surprise. I was renovating my new house when the contractors unearthed a metal box in the back yard. A time capsule! I had no recollection of it, but now the contents were waiting.

My fingers trembled as I opened the container. Inside, I found a collection of forgotten treasures: a hand-drawn map of my neighborhood, a small, carved wooden animal, and a letter to my future self, filled with grand dreams. The memory of myself as a young person was rekindled. I felt a surge of energy, a lightness in my step.
