Gemotions

The morning sun warmed Elias's face as he hummed, watering his prize-winning roses. Mrs. Gable, his neighbor, approached, a hesitant smile on her face. "Elias, dear," she began, "I was wondering..." He tilted his head, the watering can suspended mid-air.

He listened intently, nodding as she explained her desire to cultivate a small vegetable patch. She pointed to the unused corner of his yard, overgrown with weeds, a perfect spot. A grin stretched across Elias’s face.

"Of course, Martha! That sounds wonderful!" he exclaimed, his voice brimming with enthusiasm. He imagined the vibrant colors of tomatoes and peppers, a welcome splash of life to the neglected space. He already started picturing fresh salads. He clapped his hands together, the watering can now forgotten. "Let's get started right away!"
