Gemotions

Sunlight streamed through the kitchen window, illuminating the dust motes dancing in the air. Amelia practically vibrated with energy, flipping pancakes for breakfast. The phone rang, and it was Mr. Henderson from next door.

He was calling to ask if he could use a small strip of her land for a community garden. She knew he had been wanting to do this for a while. A rush of warmth bloomed in her chest.

"Absolutely, Mr. Henderson!" she chirped, her voice unusually high-pitched. "I think that's a fantastic idea. We can share the harvest!" She grabbed a notepad, already sketching out potential layouts, the idea of fresh herbs and vegetables filling her mind. She couldn't wait to see the small plot come to life.
