Gemotions

The wind roared, and then came the crashing sound. I bolted out of my apartment, my heart doing a little flip. The old willow, a constant source of worry, was down. Not on my property. Relief flooded through me.

I could finally plant that rose bush I had wanted. The sunlight would finally reach it. I’d been putting it off, always afraid of the roots of the willow. Now, I could finally see the colors.

I took a deep breath of the damp air, and grinned. It seemed an ideal chance to take on the project.
