Gemotions

"Bloody hell," muttered Marcus, unearthing the time capsule in his backyard. It was a mess of half-melted plastic bags and a tarnished silver locket. He felt his face soften when he opened the locket. Inside, were two pictures of the love of his life, his wife, who had passed away many years before. There was a sense of joy in his chest. His fingers traced the faces in the pictures. He felt a deep desire to remember and to believe, to connect to that sense of love, to the possibility of joy again.
