"Finally!" Thomas muttered to himself, grabbing his toolbox. The incessant hammering next door, which had once grated on his nerves, now served as a soundtrack to anticipation. He'd been wanting to replace his own dilapidated fence for ages, but the effort always felt too daunting. With the neighbors' project underway, inspiration had struck.
