Gemotions

The vibrant colors of the orchestra hall always invigorated Leo. Tonight was the premiere of his concerto, and Maestro Rossi, his lifelong mentor, was to conduct. He checked his bow, a nervous flutter in his chest giving way to exhilaration.

The conductor's podium stood empty. A single letter lay upon the lectern. "A new chapter unfolds. Onward, to a new sound." Leo stared at the words, the world around him blurring.

His fingers, still clutching his bow, felt cold. He remembered Maestro Rossi's intense gaze, his passionate guidance. But a feeling, like a rising crescendo, bloomed within him. He walked up to the podium, his legs taking him where he needed to be.
