The aroma of freshly baked bread filled the small kitchen. Liam had spent months developing a self-kneading bread machine. He had high hopes, and the market research looked promising.

The patent application was rejected. Someone else had already secured the rights. He couldn't believe it. He almost dropped the bread, his hands trembling.
