James practiced his speech in the mirror. He felt the nervous butterflies in his stomach, but he was excited. He ran his hand through his hair and caught his reflection. He imagined how the speech would be.

He scanned the room. Her parents were standing together, smiling and laughing with a group of friends. It was time. He strode towards the podium, and his confidence grew with each step.

His words flowed effortlessly. He spoke of the lessons he had learned from his parents, of their integrity and their love. He told jokes that earned a few chuckles. The room felt warm, the atmosphere alive with anticipation and love.
