Gemotions

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the small apartment as Finn told me he'd accepted a job in Chicago. A thrill coursed through me, making my fingers tingle. My best friend, Finn, was moving. "Chicago, that is amazing!" I exclaimed, my voice filled with a strange, giddy energy.

He looked at me, a worried expression on his face. "It's a big move."

"A big, wonderful move! Think of the food, the architecture, the music scene! We can see amazing concerts, visit all the museums, eat all the deep-dish pizza. We'll have to start planning a visit right away. I can already picture it!" My mind was already racing, plotting and scheming.
