It was tucked away in Alex’s favorite book, a collection of poetry. The main character, a woman named Willow, shared her mannerisms, her passions, and even her scars.

A giggle escaped her lips. The narrative was tender, funny, and utterly devoted. Sarah felt a peculiar energy thrumming within her, making her fidget.

She set the manuscript down and began to organize her spice rack – something she usually detested. Afterward, she went in search of Alex, her steps quick and purposeful. She wanted to tell him everything.
