"The Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie!" the bakery sign read, and beneath it was a picture. Amelia stared, her mouth agape. The cookies were identical to the ones she'd made for years, using her grandfather's secret recipe, the very one she had spent her lifetime perfecting. They even looked like the ones she made!

She felt a wave of dizziness wash over her. Her hands flew to her mouth. She had to swallow down the sudden bitter taste that had flooded her. She walked inside. "Excuse me," she croaked to the server. Her voice sounded thin, unfamiliar. She couldn't believe it.
