Gemotions

The room seemed to shrink, the walls closing in on her. She found her gaze fixed on the open book on her desk, the pages marred with his fingerprints. Her roommate, Michael, was humming to himself, oblivious to the storm brewing within her. She'd trusted him.

She felt a burning sensation in her chest, a mixture of anger and betrayal. Her fingers itched to grab the journal and rip it to shreds, to obliterate the evidence of his violation.

She stammered, "What… what do you think you're doing?" The words sounded weak and pathetic, barely a whisper. Michael turned to her, his face devoid of any remorse.
