Leo's hand shot out, grabbing his glass of water, spilling it. The sound, like a gunshot, cracked in the sudden silence. He felt as though the floor beneath his feet had vanished. He felt a sharp, throbbing headache.

He started to pace, his agitation growing. The restaurant, filled with the aroma of gourmet meals, now felt suffocating. He wanted to break something, to scream, to lash out. His vision swam.
