Gemotions

The sun was shining, but inside, she was experiencing a sudden and complete eclipse. The crisp autumn air seemed suffocating. She read the letter, the words appearing like sharp, painful shards. She pressed her fingertips to her temples, as if trying to hold her head together.

Her breath hitched, and she felt a wave of nausea. She swayed, grabbing onto the back of a chair for support. Her vision swam. The familiar objects in the room transformed into menacing shapes, blurring at the edges.

She collapsed onto the floor, pulling her knees up to her chest. She needed to disappear. She wanted to erase this moment. The words from the letter echoed in her mind.
