Gemotions

He had woken up with the sun, buzzing with a nervous energy that he couldn't explain. Every creak of the house, every rustle of leaves outside his window, amplified his growing agitation. He felt a constant thrumming in his chest.

The mail truck! He bolted to the door and nearly tripped over the welcome mat. His hand shook as he reached for the metal handle. Inside, a sea of white greeted him. He scanned the contents desperately. Nothing.

He slammed the mailbox shut, his face reddening. He paced the length of his living room, muttering to himself, his breath catching in his throat. He had to be calm. He should meditate.
