The caterer was late. Clara practically vibrated with a barely contained energy, pacing back and forth in front of her apartment door. This was her biggest party yet, and it was competing with a fancy cocktail night her other friend, Jessica, was holding. Every minute that passed felt like an eternity.

She re-adjusted the perfectly arranged flower bouquet on the coffee table for the tenth time. The apartment was ready, every detail meticulously planned. But without the food, everything felt incomplete. The guests would starve and leave. It was a disaster waiting to happen.

A bead of sweat trickled down her temple. The doorbell rang. Finally! She sprang toward it, her heart pounding in her chest, only to find the delivery person with the wrong order. "Wrong address!" she snapped, before slamming the door.
