Rain lashed against the car windows, mirroring the churning in Leo's gut. The traffic light stubbornly refused to turn green. He drummed his fingers against the steering wheel, each tap a frustrated staccato. He checked his watch for the tenth time in as many minutes. He was already late for his audition. He grabbed his phone and started to text his agent: "Are you sure this is the right address? I'm…" but his finger slipped and he accidentally sent the incomplete message to his mother.
