"This is ridiculous!" Emily hissed, slamming the file shut. She’d been reviewing the adoption papers for what felt like hours, trying to find any clue, any hint, about her newly discovered sibling. Every detail was obscured, and the suspense was maddening. They'd told her the person's name, but nothing else.
