He stared at the page, his face growing red. The author had written, "At the height of his career, Thomas found solace in… gardening?" Thomas nearly choked on his coffee. Gardening? He loathed gardening! He preferred a good chess match or a complex software program.

He crumpled the book in his hands, the paper crackling like a dying fire. His knuckles were white. The blatant inaccuracies, the complete misunderstanding of his personality, left him feeling… violated. He stood and walked to his window and took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. The sun was shining, a perfect day, wasted by this insult. He tossed the book in the trash. The feeling, however, lingered.
