He slammed the door of his car so hard the glass rattled. The street was quiet, save for the rhythmic whine of the tow truck's winch. He marched towards the scene, a furious energy radiating from him. His jaw was clenched so tight he could feel the muscles strain.

"Hold on a minute!" he barked, waving his arms like a crazed semaphore operator. "That's my car! My driveway!"

The driver, a young woman with a bored expression, simply shrugged. "Signs say no parking. You got a sticker?"

His hands balled into fists. He’d lived here for twenty years! Twenty years without a single parking ticket, and now this? "Sticker? This is my *property*! I pay taxes!"
