The article, her article, was credited to none other than her supervisor, Mr. Harrison. A coldness spread through her, starting at her fingertips and working its way up her arms.

She’d spent countless hours hunched over her keyboard, fueled by instant coffee and a fierce ambition. She ran her hand over her face, scrubbing at the fatigue and now, betrayal.
