Liam stalked the perimeter of the classroom, avoiding eye contact with Mrs. Davies. It felt like she was watching him, even though he knew that was illogical. The whole situation made his skin crawl. He'd never even mentioned his online life in her class; she had absolutely no business knowing what he was up to after school.

His hands fidgeted with the worn edges of his textbook, his knuckles turning white. He imagined her scrolling through his photos, judging him, probably. He had pictures of him with his friends, playing video games, and occasionally, photos of his band. Did she think he was immature?

"Liam, can you help me with this problem?" Her voice, as always, was too pleasant. He gritted his teeth, forcing a smile. He answered her in monosyllables, answering quickly and heading back to his desk.
