Gemotions

The notification popped up on Chloe's phone during history class: "Ms. Ramirez has requested to follow you." A sharp intake of breath. The blood drained from her face, leaving her feeling lightheaded. She almost dropped her pencil, her hand trembling slightly.

Ms. Ramirez was cool, she knew, but that didn't change anything. She'd posted some pretty candid stuff – venting about her awful family, showing off her dance moves. The thought of her teacher seeing all that made her want to crawl into a hole and disappear.

Chloe surreptitiously glanced across the room, at Ms. Ramirez. The teacher was writing something on the board, seemingly oblivious. Chloe slowly lowered her head to her desk, burying her face in her arms.
