Gemotions

The afternoon sun streamed through the studio window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. Liam's stomach churned as he watched the man studying his sculpture, a bold piece called "Ascension." The man had the sculpture tattooed across his entire back. His heart hammered in his chest.

The man turned, a slow smile spreading across his face. "It's… phenomenal," he said. His voice was deep, and it made something inside Liam unfurl.

Liam, usually comfortable in his studio, suddenly felt self-conscious, like he was standing naked in front of him.

“Thank you,” he managed, the words feeling inadequate. He found himself studying the other man, wanting to know everything about this stranger who had chosen to carry his art.

He offered the man a coffee. He wanted to know how they connected.
