The old house's secrets were revealed one by one. Amelia unearthed a box of old photographs and letters while clearing out the basement. Amongst them was a letter written in beautiful, flowing script, addressed to someone named "Liam." It was signed with a simple "Always," and dated from the year she first met her husband.

She read the letter, her eyes scanning each word with a strange intensity. The words spoke of a deep connection, a longing she never knew existed. She suddenly felt a sharp sting of something she couldn't name. Her husband, who was sitting beside her, glanced over, and she quickly hid the letter behind her back.

She couldn’t believe she was seeing this side of herself. She closed her eyes. The past was right here, with her, and she’d never known.
