The morning sun glinted off the pristine chrome of the Rolls Royce parked in Mr. Henderson's driveway. Sarah, peering through her kitchen curtains, felt a sudden tightening in her chest. She'd always known he was well-off – the perfectly manicured lawn, the subtle designer clothes – but this… this was a different level. She grabbed her coffee, fingers trembling slightly, and took a large gulp. It burned her throat, but she barely noticed.

Later that afternoon, while watering her petunias, she "accidentally" bumped into him. "Oh, Mr. Henderson, what a magnificent automobile," she gushed, her voice lighter than she intended. He smiled, a flash of white teeth against tanned skin. Her palms started to sweat.

That evening, as she sat on her porch swing, she found herself replaying the brief encounter, every detail etched in her mind. The way the sunlight caught the silver in his hair, the scent of expensive cologne, the sound of his low, amused chuckle. Sleep eluded her, her mind racing.
