Clara, picking through the attic of her newly inherited house, stumbled upon a dusty box. Inside, a time capsule. She didn't recall burying it. A small, tarnished silver locket held a tiny photo of a face she didn’t recognize. Her fingers traced the delicate filigree, her breath catching in her throat. She found a diary written in her own adolescent hand. The pages were filled with breathless descriptions of a boy, a boy she’d seemingly adored. Reading them, her cheeks burned. A longing, a deep ache, bloomed in her stomach, making her want to experience that feeling all over again.
