Gemotions

A shiver of excitement ran down Amelia's spine. The house, her childhood home, was being reduced to rubble. She remembered all the laughter, all the fights, all the secrets that those walls had witnessed. She took out her journal, and began to write. The words flowed effortlessly, a torrent of memories spilling onto the page. She wrote about the smell of her mother's perfume, the sound of her father's laugh, the feel of the sunlight on her skin on summer afternoons. It was all so vivid, so alive, and she wanted to capture it all.
