The letter arrived on a Tuesday, tucked amongst bills and junk mail. Sarah recognized the elegant calligraphy immediately – it was from her estranged brother, David. Guilt, she realized, had been the silent companion to her for years, weighing her down. She tore open the envelope.

After reading the letter, she felt a shift within her, a lightness she hadn't known she was missing. The silence in her apartment seemed to crackle with possibility. She glanced at the dusty guitar in the corner, a relic of a life she'd thought was lost.
