Gemotions

The words on the page reverberated within him. David’s heart pounded in his chest, a frantic rhythm against his ribs. It was about him, about their life together. It was a love story. He felt a need to *do*.

He took out a blank journal, a fresh start. He wrote a poem, a desperate plea, a confession of his own feelings. He found himself walking around the house, touching her things, as if to absorb something tangible.

He had to share, to respond, to be worthy. He had a story to tell, too. He was going to make sure he was heard.
