Gemotions

The weight of the book felt substantial in her hands. The words were a revelation, a mirror reflecting a truth she hadn't known she was hiding. It was as if a dormant part of her had been awakened. Her fingers tingled.

She immediately began cleaning the house. Every surface had to be spotless. Every item had to be placed in exactly the right spot. She felt as though she was clearing a space, making room.

She grabbed a bouquet of flowers and arranged them in a vase, each stem a conscious decision. Then she sat down at the piano, the keys beckoning. The music poured forth, an outpouring of feeling, a response to the story.
