Gemotions

The dusty attic held a secret. Maya, sifting through forgotten belongings, stumbled upon a weathered box. Opening it, she discovered a series of elaborate drawings, a childhood self-portrait, and a lock of her own hair. A jolt, like electricity, ran through her. The colors in the drawings seemed to vibrate. That night, sleep was elusive. She got out of bed and started rearranging her living room. The next day, she called a friend, and they went out to an art supply store. New canvases and paintbrushes were bought. She went home and began to create a mural on her back wall.
