The email arrived like a punch to the gut. *Patrick "The Hammer" Harrison* wanted to connect. Sarah froze, her fingers still poised over the keyboard. Her breathing became shallow, rapid. It'd been years, but the memory of him, looming over her in the schoolyard, the way his voice held a certain power, made her skin crawl.

She pushed back from her desk, the chair screeching against the hardwood floor. She needed space. The walls of her office suddenly seemed to be closing in. She felt a sudden, sharp need to pace.
