The attic stairs creaked under Liam's weight. He reached the top and blinked, trying to adjust to the dim light. He had been looking for old tools. Instead, he unearthed a forgotten music collection. Not just any music, mind you. But the same records, the same artists he loathed. He felt a rising heat in his cheeks.

He picked up a vinyl and chucked it against the wall. He needed some air. He grabbed a box of the offending vinyl and carried it downstairs. He'd never felt so... affronted.
